UPDATE!

Well, I've almost completely cleaned up the archery subfolder (cause those are the photos I keep finding on other sites without credit). I deleted some of my earlier shots if the poses were way too similar or too blurry or just unusable for other reasons - I daresay nobody will miss them.
However, IF you have saved them to your computer already for whatever reason, you can STILL use them of course - regular rules apply.

I will continue the revamp and occasionally send out two or three pics of an older series to your inbox.
Huzzah! On to the upload-mobile!

Edinburgh.

So, this was my loot from our Scotland trip. Some landscape, some castles, some exclusives... I hope you can find something useful to do with these shots and I do appreciate any feedback whatsoever concerning non-model-stock, since I haven't done that in a while.

So far Edinburgh has been exeedingly nice to me. Apart from a major flu at the beginning and a little relapse last week I'm doing fine and I'm currently training for a tour guide job with Mercat Tours. So come April I'll be scaring unsuspecting visitors with terrifying stories of Edinburgh's past (plus the occasional ghost story) in the vaults underneath the town. Very much looking forward to that :)

I've also spent many hours around Holyrood Park and Arthur's seat, walking Tara, watching her despair over the grey fat squirrels mocking her from the trees. I couldn't be arsed taking my camera cause it's right in front of my doorstep anyway but sooner or later there'll be some more landscape stock and probably some more from Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle, oh and the sea is right there as well.
I'll put up a request journal in time, but I'm concentrating on finishing my training for now.

Stop! Revamp Time.

I will probably use the active downtime to revamp the gallery. I've mentioned it before I think, but there's a few things I want to do with my gallery in terms of better navigation and coherence and stuff:

+ Create accurate subfolders and sort stock accordingly
I've started this alread in case you noticed - the Warriors, Couples, Horses/Riders and General Model folders are already sorted, but some of the older mythology-themed images didn't quite fit. And of course some are still in packs which will also change.

+ Reupload packs as single images
Don't worry - it'll just be the good quality pics and not every single one. I did notice that I just was not capable of proper editing back then and there are quite a few similar ones in the packs. The packs will go into scraps, so they will still be available.

+ Add Terms of Use link to individual stock photos
If I see one more of my archery stock uploaded to that fucking "Instinctive Archer" site on facebook I will choke a bitch. I do realize it's just a "collection" site and technically that's fine but it still bugs me, hence the new non-intrusive watermark (of sorts). Btw, if you have archery-themed art - check that site... mostly they just just seem to put up everything they find on google, photos, drawings, manips, everything.

+ Add rules-link to image description
No big deal, really, just a matter of coherence cause I don't have it on most of my old pics and since I'm going through the gallery anyway I can do it right away.

So. That's the plan for now.
If you have ANY suggestions to improve my gallery, layout, navigation etc - please let me know!!
It'll be a buttload of work and I'd hate to have to do it all again just cause I realize "oh, I should've done that, as well!"

Casting Call!

I said it before, I'll say it again: if there's anyone among my watchers actually FROM Edinburgh or the area who is interested in a meet-up and maybe some joint stockventure projects, I'm absolutey in.
Likewise, if you have a trip to Edinburgh planned, shoot me a note, I can show you around if you like :)

I haven't had cause to use them yet, but I was really happy to see the castle stock photos. If left to my own imagination all my castles would be very boring and terribly similar looking, so thank you for taking the time to photograph them!
