Taking Requests for May!

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 17, 2013, 4:54 AM

Hey folks, how are you all on this wonderful spring day? Here it is a wonderful spring day anyway and it took that bastard long enough to show up, so I'm enjoying it while I should be tidy my apartment and study for an upcoming exam.
In order to do neither I am writing this journal, letting you know (as promised) about the upcoming Archer Week mid-May and that means: requests!

Here's a few friends who'll be with me again and have already told me they're looking forward to taking more photos:

Then there's Hailey and maybe Liz will join us two, she'll be in her 7th month of pregnancy by then, so that might be an interesting shoot, as well.
As usual, I will make no promises, but I'll make note of everything and take it to the models to see what they're up for.

So get in your requests for archery, horseback riding, couples, pregnancy (pending), any regular pose you can think of.

Oh, and in case you haven't seen the poll on my main page - I'll host another contest this summer. Topic choices are still up and you can still vote, the frontrunners are "Elements" and "Warriors/Archers" and they've been giving each other a good chase so far. You can expect the contest (open for all visual media) to be opened around June.

Stolen Photos... not-so-happy end but an end.

Journal Entry: Mon Mar 11, 2013, 8:42 AM

The matter is now resolved if you consider the images being taken down without a shred of guilt resolved.
There is no comprehension whatsoever on her part, made obvious by her latest journal: "I don't mean to come off sounding as a victim (even though I am)" and "Copyright infringement happens all the time; most people don't even realize it. Every time you take a photo of yourself wearing a certain stylish shirt, you are committing a copyright infringement because you never asked the manufacture for permission to use their clothes in that photo." (which is just NOT TRUE, copyright does not apply to manufactured goods like that) but the images in question are taking down and I guess some people are beyond reason.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me out so fast. Pretty sure this would've been dragged out even longer without you guys and I love you all

So, I make an effort. I put time and money and a lot of sweat into this stock account. I do art photography, I do portrait photography and I still try to take some high quality photos on the side for people to freely use in their art process. Is it too much to ask to leave my art photography alone? To just use one from the goddamn hundreds of stock photos I offer here?

I had two very nice and polite people ask me whether they could use my stock for the Lara-Croft contest - they both got my response within 24 hours and it was a whole-hearted YES! HAVE FUN!
And then there's this:

She could've said sorry, she could've said "I didn't know that wasn't allowed" she could've offered to take it down, but no. I get a "no, I got the image from google" and when I show her my original pic on dA as proof it's followed up by "I made the arrow and based off the arm on my sister's" and "as an artist, I do not like being accused of stealing when I have not".

You have erased my signature and watermark, which I had put somewhere visible but non-intrusive (oh, foolish me) and you blatantly lied to me when I called you on your BS.
I'm done with nice.

BRB, putting huge-ass watermarks on all my non-stock-shit.

Coming up...

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 22, 2013, 12:51 PM

So, just thought I should give you a little update on what to expect next from this account. I mean it's not like I have a schedule but there's still a few pics floating around here that I *finally* need to upload before I can move on.

Horse
I'll upload around 20 pics of Melly and Seneca - mostly gallop profile and a few 3/4 front pics, well-lit, western-style riding, modern clothes.

Winter
After my "gimme inspiration" journal some time ago I went out and tried to get some winter-themed pics - regular landscape but also detail-shots on animal tracks, snow on different surfaces etc. I still have to go through those so it might take some time (light was rather dull, I'm hoping for something better in the next few days)

Model
I'm gonna look at a new studio next week, see if it suits me and if I can afford it I'll be able to take new model shots under studio condition in Febuary (I'll probably put up a journal for requests when it's time)

Archery Week
Still some time off but while we're at it: Second week of May is our next archery camp. Thomas (our horseback archer) made himself a kilt so that's on the list of course. There will be more opportunity to shoot with Melly and Seneca (again: requests possible) and of course archer-themed stock as usual.

So, that's all from my side, update-wise. I have a few exams coming up next Tuesday so I should be studying (which is of course a surefire way to get me to do eeeeverything *but* studying). Have a nice evening ya'll.

Winter-themed stock?

Journal Entry: Wed Dec 12, 2012, 9:34 AM

At the moment there's a really nice winter wonderland outside and since I kind of neglected my art photography lately I'm out more often to take some pictures. Now I was wondering if you guys had any idea for winter-themed stock you'd like me to tackle. Either with or without models, feel free to hand me some ideas/requests alongside the winter-theme.

Also: I now have a 42-month-sub  I guess I'll be here for a while, eh?

A Beginner's Guide to Archery in Stock & Art

Journal Entry: Fri Sep 7, 2012, 2:43 PM

With movies like Avengers, Brave and Hunger Games, 2012 seems to be the Year of the Archers and many artists have already been inspired to create their own archer characters.
Whether you're thinking about having one of your OCs pick up bow and arrow (in writing or drawing) or you're a stock artist who wants to create some decent archery stock, I hope this little guide helps you understand the wonderful thing that is archery.

First and foremost, a little disclaimer: For this article I will mainly draw from my own experiences over the past few years. I am what you'd call an intuitive or instinctive archer, which roughly comes closest to medieval-styled archery. At the moment I'm shooting a modern Samick bow (without stabilizer or sights) and am in the process of making my own recurve bow out of robinia wood (similar to a few bows you can see in my gallery).
However, in archery there are many styles and differences in material used, draw, stance, finger position etc. – it all depends on the context of your story/drawing/stock shoot and I can't possibly provide sufficient information here for every aspect of archery. I'd be happy, though, if this little compilation sparked some interest and encourages you to learn more about archery.

I'll try and include a few images to illustrate the text as well as links and videos for further research. And I'd like to thank ~snappapple and ^PirateLotus-Stock for the feedback and help in creating this article – and of course all my wonderful models who are featured here as example pics

Let's start with the equipment:

1. Bows

There are many different types of bows, the most common ones in western style archery being longbow and recurve bow. There are both modern versions of these bows (made out of modern materials such as fiberglass) and traditional versions carved out of one piece of wood (creating recurved limbs is rather easy: all you need is boiling water = steam) or made of different materials (so-called composite bows).
Traditional:
Modern:

The advantage of recurved limbs is that they permit the bow to be shorter and thus easier to handle while maintaining the same level of energy and power. A reflex bow is an extreme form of recurve: Rider bows for example need to be shorter so that the rider can turn around on horseback without whacking their faithful steed every time they do.

Another impressive and very distinctive bow is the so-called yumi, used in Japanese archery (=kyudo) as well as horseback archery (=yabusame), you'll usually see the long, asymmetrical version. Japanese archery is often seen as meditative, with a focus on the art of repetition, the perfection of the shot rather than scoring as many points as possible, however it did start out as a weapon of the Samurai and is not to be underestimated.

For contemporary bow hunting most hunters today will use compound bows that feature a system of cables and pulleys. Not only does it store more energy, it also allows for the archer to aim without the pressure of the bow string.

2. Arrows

There are again different types of arrows, plumage and arrowheads. Nowadays most modern arrows are made of carbon or aluminum, but wooden arrows are still in use.

I'm going to tell you how I've learned to fletch my arrows but if you dare take a look into an archery forum you'll soon find that there's almost endless discussion on what's the best way to do it. I use three feathers, they are glued to the wooden shaft and secured with string (see image above).
The cock feather often has a different colour and should be placed in a 90° angle to the nock (= slot to place on the bow string) and when you shoot it points away from the bow (again, that seems to be open for discussion).

A special type of arrow is the so called flu-flu, used for bird and short distance hunting. The big feathers spiral around the wood, which makes the arrow slow down faster and thus easier to find if the archer misses their target.
(They also go "whooooosh!")

As for arrowheads,  you'll find that most modern archers use narrow points (field or target points) that are easy to pull from the target and don't cause much damage. However, there are also arrowheads designed to cause as much damage to the victim/prey as possible: broadheads, that feature two or four sharp blades and cause a bigger wound and massive bleeding. Those would be used for hunting and war-related matters.

3. Protection

The basic protection kit nowadays would be an armguard or cuff for your forearm and a finger-glove  for the fingers you draw the bow string with.
Technically neither is necessary if you shoot often and correctly, however when using wooden arrows I still recommend the cuff as I've only recently witnessed what a (more or less unnoticeably) damaged wooden arrow can do to you when you try to shoot it and it basically explodes on your bow string.

If you shoot a bow without an arrow rest you could also use a glove for the hand that holds the bow, and there's much more gear to give your archer if you want, such as chest guards or armguards that cover the whole arm that holds the bow.

One thing you should keep in mind: if your archer has long hair  it might get caught in the bow string  – same goes, of course, for other dangly things like necklaces or ribbons etc. That doesn't mean you have to get rid of everything, but keep it in mind when designing your character.

Here is where it gets interesting for stock artists, and while I can try to describe the posture and show you the images, I know that it's still difficult to get it right when you've never had actual training or instructions. So I hope I can still give you a few pointers to make it easier to get started:

1. Posture

For a good archery posture the most important thing to consider is the following:
The strength comes from the archer's back, not their arms.
In fact, many physical therapists recommend archery as a therapy for back problems. When I started out it helped me to imagine the point between my shoulder blades like a pulley to take my mind off the arm muscles.

Your archer should stand sideways to their target and only rotate their torso, feet slightly apart and relaxed. The way that works best for me is to lean slightly forward with more weight on the foot that's closer to the target.
Both eyes are open, the string is drawn to the face (don't lower their face to meet the string). The movement should be fluid and quick without any overly capricious, show-off extra moves.

2. Arms and Hands

The arm that holds the bow should be straight but not over-stretched from the very beginning with the elbow pointing to the side rather than to the floor, else they will probably end up smacking their forearm (which is something every beginner has to go through).

The arm that holds the string should draw the string straight backwards, with the forearm being in line with the arrow. A very common mistake I see is the elbow being held higher than the arrow line.

The hand that draws the string holds the string, not the arrow. Typically you'd draw with index, middle and ring finger (either all three fingers below the arrow OR index above, middle and ring finger below the arrow) but that varies in different styles. The release should be smooth and relaxed and the hand should stay in place for a few seconds after.

The hand that holds the bow holds the bow, not the arrow. The arrow should never go between the fingers, it will be painful and probably derail the arrow of its target. The grip around the bow is soft and never tense, some archers keep their hands open during the draw and only close it around the bow last second.
Typically a right-hand bow places the arrow left of the bow grip but, again, that varies in different styles (it's different in kyudo, for example, and in horseback archery for faster reloading)

3. Anchor Point

Find a suitable anchor point. The anchor point is a point on an archer's face they always draw the string to. This ensures that the full draw stays consistent – that means when you paint or draw your archer-OC you should always give him the same anchor point.
It doesn't matter whether it's a high anchor point (cheekbone, ear, even corner of the eye) or low anchor point (jaw, chin or under) as long as it's consistent.

For stock-artists this means: Don't be afraid of the string. I often see models drawing the string to a "safe" point in front of their face, not to the side of their cheek or chin. That just won't work.
Btw, in Japanese kyudo things are a bit different again – the arrow is usually drawn to a point behind the ear and the hand is not touching the face at all. It's the same for horseback archery, there you'll often find a floating anchor, often drawn to the collarbone area.

4. Common Mistakes

When I look through dA's archery stock I see a few very common posture mistakes which are then often translated to drawings and paintings. Research is essential for both stockers and artists, and with archery it's probably best to not just look at single pics, but rather go to youtube and watch the whole process.

Pixar's "Brave" shows us three wonderful examples of typical posture problems when they gave them to the competing suitors at the tournament. In contrast, Merida actually does a wonderful job. There's a great article that analyzes the trailer and the overall-archery in this movie, seriously have a look: [link]

I hope this article could give you a little visual guide on how-to and how-not-to ;) If you have any questions please let me know, I'm in no way a big authority in archery but maybe I can help you out or point you in the right direction.
Archery has become an important part of my life and I can only urge you to give it a try, especially now that it has become a bit more mainstream and archery clubs are growing everywhere. Pick up a bow and shoot something! :D

For further research:

Here's a very nice and compact Beginner's Guide to Archery, including some information on different styles, equipment and what to think of when you want to get into archery and need to buy your set-up: [link]

And this is a wonderful summary on the anchor point, which is something every archer should know:
[link]

There's a page that offers a few traditional books on archery to read online, amongst them "Toxophilus" by Roger Ascham (written in 1545), which is sometimes considered the traditional archer's bible. If you can deal with the 16th century English, have a look at it here: [link]

And last but not least: Wikipedia's archery section is actually very reliable and very extensive, so that's always a good place to start: [link]

Oh, and before I forget, here are a few of dA's reliable archery stock providers (beside myself, of course ;)):

On Archery

Journal Entry: Thu Aug 30, 2012, 7:25 PM

Would anybody be interested in a little news article on archery? As in, what are some of the key points to think of when drawing archers, etc - lately I've come across so many wonderful paintings and drawings that have unfortunately either chosen a bad reference or neglected their research, and it always pains me to see this. So I was thinking, maybe I could put together a little something that would make it easier for artists without an archery background to get the core elements right.

On another note: Canada's great so far and I'm having the best time here with ~snappapple - there'll probably be some texture stock to come, maybe some model stock as soon as we pull ourselves together and do some brainstorming as to what and where.
Anyway, let me know what you think about the news article idea! :)

Contests you should check out!

Journal Entry: Fri Aug 3, 2012, 1:45 PM

So, I take it a good percentage of you watch me for my archery stock, which means you probably also know =Kxhara - if not ZOMG how do you not know her? Amazing stock and some wonderful archery poses. And there's one more reason you should check her out:

Until Septemer 17th she's holding a special contest with a really interesting topic:
Create a fat female superheroine.

You can have a look at how this came to be here: [link] - it's a really frustrating background story and I think =Kxhara's contest is a wonderful reaction to it. I myself have never modelled for my own stock-account, precisely because I am a plus-size woman so I can't deny that I can relate to the whole issue personally, which is why I donated a few prices for this contest (subs and exclusive packs).

And here's another contest I'm involved with: [link]
#AngelicTerra has chosen one of my model stock for their contest "When Angels Fly" and it's open until September 1st (you don't have to become a member of the group to enter).  I've also donated one of my exclusive packs (of choice) to the winner so if you want one of those: head over there and enter ;)

On a personal note, in about two weeks I'll be off to Canada for three weeks to visit my lovely ~snappapple - she and I on the same continent? This might actually be the apocalypse the Mayans were talking about. If so: Whoops, sorry.
I'll hopefully return with a few good stock photos, although I haven't even uploaded the rest from Camp in Hungary (laptop broke down, only got it back this week after almost a month of cold turkey) - so yeah, chances are slim to none that I'll run out of stock pics to upload. I hope you guys haven't switched of deviations yet to be save from the flooding ;)

Slight Change in Rules.

Journal Entry: Thu Jun 7, 2012, 1:17 AM

So, I'd like to inform everybody that I slightly reworded my stock rules. No biggie for most of you guys, but I wanted to emphasize how this stock is mainly there to help artists in their creative process and is not to be used as-is, that means, not to be treated like a regular photo that is posted without any manipulation or change on posters, flyers, ads, etc (even fake ads etc). Of course one could argue that illustrators etc. also need practice and stock to work with and that's fine - as long as there's some creativity involved, really.
I've also taken the stock rules out of my journal and into the little artist-introduction section on my front page - for everyone to see... hopefully:

CREATE! - CREDIT! - NOTIFY!
That means, credit my stock with a link to the image and/or the account. Notify me via note or comment when you've uploaded it somewhere. And please please PLEASE do something creative with my stock. It's meant to be a tool in an artistic process, not a commercial stock pic you can use for ads, flyers or avatars.

And cause I don't just want to update my journal without anything else: Next uploade series will feature a new model, Kat (Lukas' girlfriend) - there'll be a few couple shots and a few Hunger Games themed series cause she was reading the book at the camp and was all hyped up about it so we had some stock-fun with her as Katniss and Lukas as Gale (yay, more archery!)

Then there's some capoeira and general fighting shots with Flo and Isa. Some wonderful horserider photos with Melly and her arab stallion Seneca and quite a few photos from galloping Seneca alone. Not sure if I'll upload the sword fight images... they just didn't turn out all too great what with the wooden sticks they used ^^; We'll see.
One way or another: That's the rough plan for the next weeks. Let me know if you need something asap then I'll change the schedule.

Oh, and THANK YOU again for all the favs and comments on Thomas horseback archery series... over 4.000 fucking favs?! Holy shit!!

Blown away...

Journal Entry: Mon May 28, 2012, 6:57 AM

So, I just wanted to stop and say hi to all my new watchers and those who'll join the party over the next few hours. Apparently dA is in desperate need for horseback archery, else I can't imagine why my stock series (#17, in particular) became sooooooo popular in less than 2 days. We cracked 1.000 favs and front page in the first 24 hours, got a DD the second day and now it's long past 2.000 favs and there are more coming in every minute...
Honestly, this is pretty much blowing me away right now and, I won't lie, if I had a scrotum it would probably be the size of two watermelons by now. I sure hope I can make the most of the situation and that you like the photos I'll put up over the next few days :)

Thank you very much ^PirateLotus-Stock who has been nothing but supportive in recent projects and also suggested the DD, and thank you `Dan-Heffer for featuring it. I guess I'll have to visit Thomas for a weekend or two in summer and get him to pose for another few projects ;)

:bulletgreen: Additional rules and FAQ: :bulletgreen:

If you want to use pieces created with this stock outside dA that's usually fine - I'd be grateful, though, if you could tell me beforehand what you're going to use it for and I'd like to see the finished product, if possible. For commercial use please contact me first! (I'll most likely give you permission anyway but if you use my model stock I may have to check back with the model, especially when it comes to manips and their faces are still clearly distinguishable)
EXCEPTION: The Apassionata photos are NOT to be used in ANY commercial way!

Concerning packs: Click on the preview image to see a bigger preview image. Click "download" to get all the single images (in a big version) in one rar-pack. If there are links in the descriptions you have the option to only get single photos of the pack, these single pics are located in my scraps. I will also reupload the single photos of my latest packs to make browsing easier.

Don't repost my stock images as photography and don't use them to create your own stock images, if you want to do something like that (pixel doll bases, for example) ask me at first and we can talk about it. This stock was uploaded to directly aid artists in a creative process, please treat it as such.

If you feel the need to be rude about my models and/or about the bad quality of my older stock-packs you can save me and everyone else a not-so-nice conversation by keeping it to yourself. I realise several photos of my early days are grainy and sometimes even badly focused (believe it or not, I did not drop from the sky being as awesome as I am today :D) but while manipulators may cringe in pain, artists seeking for pose reference can work well with grainy stock pics (there's enough evidence in my fav-section). So, I will keep them up for now.

CONTEST WINNERS!

Journal Entry: Wed May 16, 2012, 11:59 AM

I've managed to make up my mind but it wasn't easy. In the end I had to go for two second places, I couldn't help it. Both entrants get their just reward, I'll obviously sponsor two subscriptions and I've talked to ~snappapple and ^PirateLotus-Stock, you each receive the exclusive stock pack and the commission.
I've also added those entries who made it to my personal closer selection. But now… for the winners:

1st place

:iconcallibanda:

*Callibanda's Lobisome is an extremely impressive beast, painted with an amazing sense of dynamic and emotion. His style is unique and you can tell that this guy knows what he's doing – I didn't even mind that he "only" used my stock for inspiration ;)

2nd place
AND
:iconpretty-angel: and :iconpaperfaith:

So yeah, I just couldn't decide, I couldn't!
Both pieces are wonderfully executed and very different from each other. I love the beautiful light and intimate atmosphere of =Pretty-Angel's Incantations and *paperfaith's White Snake is just a beautiful example of great manipulation skills – lots of different elements but they all work great together, bringing a very modern touch to a century-old-myth.

3rd place

:iconladyblue-art:

It's a wonderful painting, very calm and peaceful in its atmosphere, and I've always had a soft spot for gigantic, world-carrying turtles ;) I blame Pratchett.

And here's my personal selection of honorable mentions:

Contest is over! Thank you everyone! :)

Journal Entry: Tue Feb 28, 2012, 5:09 AM

So, the contest is over and last night I got a handful of last entries that managed to hit the "30 entries" mark - which means all three price packs are unlocked (although I'd have given them out anyway, to be honest ^^;)
I'm really impressed with the quality of your entries, naturally I had my favs along the way but now that all is said and done these favs have piled up and I have no clue how to pick only three out of all of them. I'll probably have a look at all of them again with a few friends and then announce the winning images tonight or tomorrow, so that I can give out the prices before I'm off to archery week in Hungary.

Thank you again everyone who has entered! In my opinion the contest was a great success and I'll probably host another one in summer - I hope you had as much fun painting and drawing and manipulating as I did receiving every single artwork :)

Contest heads-up!

Journal Entry: Wed Feb 22, 2012, 4:31 AM

So, I think it's quite clear that the mythology-topic in my poll has won - I'll draft up the contest, rules and prices and hopefully I can open it by the end of this month. It'll run for two or three months and if you have some prices (journal features, subscriptions, exclusive stock packs etc.) to donate I'd be more than grateful.
The contest theme will be mythology, with the little twist of each artist taking on a mythological topic of their own country. Now, I understand that especially people from the US often care about their European roots and have little to no relation to native American culture. I must say that I do think that this is part of the challenge - to look into it and maybe find out interesting aspects (and inspiration!) you didn't know about... BUT, I will not disqualify anyone who decides to go for European mythology because of a family-connectoin - just make sure you explain the connection in your image description or something.
I hope that option provides for a few more variations to make it easier for you guys.
That you have to use my stock for your contest entry goes without saying ;)

Oh, and another thing - I'll try and reupload a few of my packs that could be used for the contest. Let me know if there's one you'd like to see sooner rather than later and I'll upload it first.

So much for now :)
Feel free to tell me what you think of the contest idea!

Enough archers yet?

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 11, 2012, 3:15 PM

Are you fed up with the archer stuff, yet? I hope not cause there's one more pack to upload as single files ^^ After that I think I'll reupload the couple shots cause I like them and I think they are heavily under-used (apart from the two example pics, those are used constantly... so I think the single file upload may be a good idea to get the others out there).
EDIT: Oh, I also moved the single pics from my very first archer packs (a few very basic views plus two packs in the foliage and pond) from scraps into my regular gallery. You probably didn't get an update for that but you can browse the folder, if you wish.

In terms of new stock there's nothing planned in the future since technically it's winter and stock shoots are a bit harder to manage when it's cold outside. Apart from that I have university stuff to take care of until the end of January. Maybe Febuary allows for a new concept but until then there's enough re-uploading to do anyway.

I'm thinking of hosting a contest with my stock pics. I currently have a bit of money on my hand so there's be decent prices (if you cound subs and points as decent). Not sure what the topic would be, though, I'm just playing with the idea so far so I'd be happy if you gave me some input :)

Special Feature :)

Journal Entry: Wed Dec 21, 2011, 11:57 AM

So, I now have a subscription. Yay me ^^
And I won third place at #ManStock's "Heroes vs. Villains" contest. More yay me ^^
I think to kick this off I will go through my "personal fav" folder and put together a little feature of some of my so-far-favourite art pieces made with my stock photos. I'll try and keep the feature small and substantial but yeah, I think that's in order.

1) Obviously, let me know when you've used my stock.

2) I hereby grant all DeviantArtists permission to use my stock in any and all Deviant Prints without restriction
If you want to use it outside DA that's fine too - I'd be grateful, though, if you could tell me beforehand what you're going to use it for and I'd like to see the finished product, if possible.
:new: EXCEPTION: The Apassionata photos are NOT to be used in ANY commercial way! :new:

3) Please credit me in the description with a link to my account - after all my work is part of yours.

4) Concerning requests: Sorry, I don't take requests anymore. I had to realise I cannot fulfill them most of the times, anyway, because it's hard to schedule a quick shoot with my models. What you can do, however, is suggesting themes and topics for stock-series etc.

5) Concerning packs: Click on the preview image to see a bigger preview image. Click "download" to get all the single images (in a big version) in one rar-pack. If there are links in the descriptions you have the option to only get single photos of the pack, these single pics are located in my scraps.

6) Please do something creative with the images. I don't consider level adjustment and contrast-changings as highly productive (unless it's for study purpose).

7) Don't repost my stock images as photography and don't use them to create your own stock images, if you want to do something like that ask me at first and we can talk about it. Regarding pixel doll bases you are allowed to make them with my stock photos and offer them in your gallery but you HAVE to credit me in the description AND let the artists know that I'd like to be credited in THEIR description as well as notified.

8) If you feel the need to be rude about my models and/or comment about the bad quality of my older stock-packs you can save me and everyone else a not-so-nice conversation by keeping it to yourself. I can't stress that notified-part enough. I feel I'm a very generous stock-provider, I don't request much in return. All I want is to SEE what people do with my work and fav the result and look at it from time to time because it's nice to know I could help people create beautiful art. If you feel that is too much to ask then I'm afraid I'll have to hunt you down with a crossbow and teach you some manners.

On a happier note: Liz has got a new boyfriend. A stock-willing boyfriend. Yes, she actually checks that part before getting together with them. :woohoo:
