let me introduce you to Eva, a friend of my "usual" model Liz who wanted to have some photos of herself
you may recognize the "dress" - unbelievable what can be made of a plain white sheet :D

you can find the rest of the series here: oracle pack

as stock the plain white sheet is better than a costume because the shading is that much more obvious and easy to work with for drawing and adding details.

just an opinion

really like to double light in you stock makes it usefull for comic style drawing. an idea though woulb to have an imge like this where the light comes from the orb, maybe even without the actual orb if it makes a bad shadow.

just an idea

that's good - cause a plain white sheet is much cheaper than a costume ;)
the orb? what is an orb?

an orb is a word used to generelly describe a round object, but its often used in a scifi and fantasy sense for an unknown round object as well
i don't know what she's holding, but if there were light coming from it, it could make really really awsome stock(not that its not, just an idea for the future), spells, fireflies that sort of thing.

people drawing characters from scratch,in my experiance, use stock for two reasons, to stand in when they can't figure the anatomy of a pose and when they need to understand the shading and lighting.

and how exactly do you expect me to bring a light source into an hollow "orb" without a cable or something coming out of it? :slow:
